Lacquer alkyd urethane one-component TM TOPhim
Purpose: For decorative and protective varnishing of wooden and wood-like surfaces subject to high operating loads inside buildings and structures (parquet and board floors, stairs, countertops, various furniture, interior doors, etc.). It can be applied to metal, ceramics, as well as to surfaces coated with alkyd, alkyd-urethane, polyurethane, nitrocellulose and other materials based on organic solvents.
Composition: Alkyd-urethane resin in a mixture of aliphatic hydrocarbons and special additives.
Surface preparation: Wooden surfaces treated for the first time must be dry and clean. Previously painted surfaces must be cleaned of the old coating and then polished. Wood, which is used in atmospheric conditions, must be protected from rotting, damage by mold, fungi, and insects with a protective impregnation.
Coating: Mix the varnish thoroughly. If necessary, dilute (up to 10%) with a solvent. Apply the varnish in 2-4 layers by spraying or with a brush, with intermediate drying at a temperature of plus 18°C to plus 22°C for at least 4 hours. When the ambient temperature decreases, the drying time increases. If the interval between layers has exceeded 4 hours, the surface should be slightly sanded with a thin skin, cleaned and continued work. The final drying time of the varnish at a temperature from plus 18°C to plus 22°C is 48 hours.
Safety measures: Work should be carried out in a well-ventilated room. To protect hands, use rubber gloves, respiratory organs – a respirator, eyes – protective glasses.
