Description
Purpose: to dissolve cellulose esters, oil, fats, chlorinated rubber, vinyl polymers, carbinol resins. A mixture of butyl acetate with a small amount of butyl alcohol prevents whitening of varnish films. Butyl acetate is the most popular solvent in the paint industry. It is a colorless or slightly yellowish liquid, which is easily recognized by its pleasant fruity smell. Butyl acetate practically does not dissolve in water
