Solvent 650 is used to dilute melamine formaldehyde car enamels, nitroalkyd varnishes and enamels of domestic and imported production. This solvent is used for both brush painting and spraying. It effectively dilutes the binder base of the paint and varnish material to the desired state. The obtained, more liquid consistency of LFM will allow to apply it faster, more conveniently and more economically.
Solvent 650 is considered indispensable when diluting various types of enamels, paints and varnishes. It is especially often used to dilute car enamels. Also, the substance does an excellent job with paints that are intended for manual painting of small-volume surfaces. It dilutes almost all types of enamels.
To dilute the enamels to the required consistency, the solvent is added in small portions while stirring. Solvent 646, packaged in a container, is considered ready for use, but it must be shaken thoroughly before use.
Also, 650 solvent is very often used as a substance for degreasing and cleaning surfaces before starting paintwork. When degreasing the surface, you should first remove all loose particles, salt deposits, and dust with a stiff brush or brush. All work is recommended to be performed at a temperature of +10-30 degrees. In case of an unsatisfactory result, the operation should be repeated. In the course of cleaning colored decorative materials, it is necessary to first test the composition on a small area to determine the degree of influence of the solvent on the color of the surface. The consumption of 650 solvent is 0.1-0.3 l/m2 depending on the roughness and porosity of the surface.
