Before starting to paint metal structures, you need to perform preparatory work (remove foreign particles (old paint, rust, scale, dirt, etc.) and degrease the surface with white spirit, solvent or other solvent. This is very important to ensure further adhesion of the paint with the surface<\/p>\n
Next, you need to prime the surface. The surface primer performs the function of a connecting (adhesive) layer between the metal and the paint, in addition, the primer contains anti-corrosion additives that prevent the occurrence of corrosion. In addition, it will reduce paint consumption. Primer GF-021 TM TOPchem can be used for priming. The primer can be used as an independent system. It is not necessary to paint a high-quality primed structure (it is better to prime it twice), but, of course, the primed structure will not have a glossy saturated color (as in painting), since the composition of the primer differs from the paint in terms of the content of pigments and fillers, and will be matte.<\/p>\n
The final stage of painting works, the task of which is to add gloss to the surface and additional protection against corrosion, is the painting of metal structures. Previously primed surfaces can be painted with PF-115 enamel. Although today it is possible to use a 2 in 1 paint, the so-called Grunt-Enamel paint, which combines the functions of a primer and paint, or to use a 3-in-1 Grunt-Enamel with a rust converter (thickness of corrosion plaque up to 100 microns), which significantly contributes simplification of preparatory work, and accordingly, a reduction in the price of painting works as a whole.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
