Such paint can be used on various surfaces, protecting against the occurrence of fire and restraining the flame for some time.<\/p>\n<p>This fire-resistant material forms a thin film on the surface, which performs both a decorative function and fire resistance.<\/p>\n<h2>Advantages of fire-resistant paints<\/h2>\n<p>Among the advantages of flame retardant paints, the following are distinguished:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li><strong>Safety<\/strong> &#8211; this type of material, preventing fires, increases the level of safety in a building or premises, thereby reducing risks to human health and life.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Versatility<\/strong> &#8211; fire retardants can be applied to many types of surfaces, including wood, metal and concrete.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Multifunctionality<\/strong> &#8211; fire-resistant paints perform decorative, protective and fire-resistant functions.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Saving losses in case of fire<\/strong> &#8211; due to the fact that fire-resistant paint protects surfaces from fire and its spread, in the event of a fire, the losses will be much smaller.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Compliance with regulations and laws<\/strong> &#8211; the building regulations state that fire protection must be used in certain types of premises and buildings.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Types of fire-resistant paints<\/h2>\n<p>There are the following types of fire retardant paints:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: disc;\">\n<li><strong>Acrylic<\/strong> &#8211; is a one-component composition with a thermal expansion effect, used together with an alkyd primer.
